Kanya Vidya Dhan Scheme has been started by Uttar Pradesh government for class 12/ intermediate passout girls, who belong to poor family. They will be given one-time Rs 30,000 for their higher education.

Girl students, who passed class 12/ intermediate or equivalent examination in 2012 and after that will get Rs 30,000 under the Kanya Vidya Dhan scheme. You can get income certificate for your parents in Uttar Pradesh from SDMs and Tehsildars of your district. Eligible girls of Uttar Pradesh can submit their Kanya Vidya Dhan application form at District Inspector of School office (DIOS office).

Eligibility criteria for Kanya vidya dhan Scheme are as follows:

The girl should have passed class12/ intermediate or equivalent examination in 2012 or after that.

Her total annual family income should not be more than Rs 35,000.
