Samta Mulak Chowk
The Samta Mulak Chowk (crossing) is built in a modern style at the junction of Gomti bridge, the Gomti-Barrage and other roads to regulate traffic flow. Here you can find the black stone statues of Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj, Sant Narayan Guru & Mahatma Jyotiba Rao Phule and a lot of greenery and beautifil land-scrapes. The Gomti Vihar has been developed on southern embankment of Gomti river spread across 90 acres of land near Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Parivartan Sthal. It is nice place for picnic and other family outing who just want to go out, sit out there and relax sitting in the nature. Dr. Ambedkar Gomti Park is across 22 acres of land. It has a huge dynamic fountain which looks very beautiful and attracts a lot of public towards it.
Manyawar Kanshiram Memorial, Lucknow
Manyawar Kanshiram Memorial, on the VIP road is spread across 86 acres of land and have the height of 177 feet. Bronze statues, bronze murals, huge elephant statues, large gardens, 52 feet high bronze fountains etc. are the major attraction here. Just near Manyawar Kanshiram Memorial is Kanshiram eco green garden spread on 112 acres of land.
Bauddha Vihar Shanti Upvan is 5 km from Charbagh Railway Station on the V.I.P. Road and is spread across 33 acres of land. Its beautiful building and huge pillars are built in sand-stone. Some of the things which you can see at Bauddha Vihar Shanti Upvan are the Meditation Hall, Library, International Buaddha Shodh Sansthan, four-faceted sculptures, Bhikshu Niwas. Restaurant and Parking facility is also available here.
Smriti Upvan is situated near Baudha Vihar Shanti Upvan on Bijnore road opposite Bijli Pasi Quila on 11 acres of land. The structures here are built with granite & sand-stone. Adjacent to the Upvan is a big park, spread over 70 acres, where the annual Lucknow Festival and other events are held.
