New Transfer policy for government employees of Uttar Pradesh for year 2012-2013was announced today. June 30th 2012 is the last date of transfer for government employees, constables, police offices in Uttar Pradesh. Physically challenged employees will not come under this new policy.

New transfer policy in UP for year 2012-13 was announced by the newly formed Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh.

Highlights of new Transfer policy in Uttar Pradesh for year 2012-13

As per new transfer policy in Uttar Pradesh, group C and D officials in Uttar Pradesh, who have completed 6 years in the same district and 10 years in the same division would be transferred from their present place of posting. The last date of Transfer of such employees will be 30th June 2012. After this deadline, all transfers would be done by chief minister only. Transferred officers will get a week for transit and joining new duties. Now the employees will not be afraid of transfers every now and then. Physically challenged employees will not come under this new policy.

There are also exceptions in new transfer policy of UP. Deviation form this policy is allowed to Departmental heads if they have approval by the chief minister through respective ministers. However the ultimate power is in the hands of Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh where he can transfer any official/employee under administrative needs and public interest.
