Uttar Pradesh election dates, this is what everybody in Uttar Pradesh (UP) is looking for. Official election dates of UP assembly polls is announced. Uttar Pradesh will have total seven days of polling. Dates of UP election 2012 are February 4, 8, 11, 15, 19, 23, 28.

Election commission today announced UP assembly election dates 2012. The Uttar pradesh assembly elections will be held in February 2012. Election Commission of India has prohibited the transfer of officials of the rank of district magistrate and below from September 29 to January 2. So this prohibition order on non transfer applies to district magistrates, additional district magistrates, sub-divisional magistrates, tehsildars, nayab tehsildar, block development officers, chakbandi officers and booth-level officers.
