Chief election commissioner S Y Quraishi launched the UP election call centre which offers a toll-free helpline service (which means the persons calling will not be charged for the call, which means it will be a free call) to clear voters doubts or to lodge complaints about voter registration activities going on in the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha elctions 2012.

The toll free number for 2012 Uttar Pradsh Vidhan Sabha elections is 1800-180-1950. Voters can call to this number and clear their doubts or raise a complaint free of cost. Persons living in Lucknow and having a BSNL land line phone can dial 1950 straight away to get the information. Voters can use this UP election helpline number in many ways, some of which are listed below.
