Contract to leading cricketers of Kanpur

Kanpur Cricket Association, the leading cricket governing body of cricket in Kanpur announced the central contracts to top thirty cricketers of Kanpur. this list will include those peoples who appeared in C.K.Naydu trophy or other age group competitions of BCCI from Kanpur as well as the local league players.

Kanpur Cricket association announced that the top thirty players from Kanpur will be given central contracts like BCCI use to do for international cricketers. The contract is divided into three groups including A, B, and C. Players in group A will be paid five thousand rupees per year while the players in group B will be paid four thousand rupees per year and the players in group C will be paid three thousand rupees per year. The association also decided to change the name and format of local cricket league. earlier this league was known as Radheyshyam league but now it will be sponsored and the name will be declared later. the format of league is also changed. earlier there were 58 clubs under Kanpur cricket association but there are 76 clubs under the association which means more players will get chance to prove themselves at higher level. Some Schools are participating in this season which will bring out some hidden talented cricketers to Uttar Pradesh. Some of the clubs are transferring their player to newly founded clubs so as to provide more chances to those players. Now there will be 19 Clubs in each division and play 18 matches throughout the season. 1 club will play 1 match against other club in their division and hence they will play 18 match in the whole season.
