How to write Indian Rs. symbol in your notepad, wordpad, in your Microsoft office or any other document.

Indian Rupee Symbol

We are proud, that our country got its currency symbol. We always used to write Rs. for our currency, but now we have our currency symbol. Now Indian Rupee got its identification with symbol. But, since it is a new symbol we don't find any clue about how to write this new symbol of Indian currency. Now I am going to tell you how you can write Indian Rs. symbol.

How to write Rs. symbol

1) First thing you need is to download the Rupee symbol font, link is provided at bottom.

2) After you download the font, go to font folder which is in C: windows-> fonts. Paste the font in that folder

3) Now, when you write in any document select the Rupees Foradian font
font

4) After you select the font, its time to write, press (~) button, below Esc button on your keyboard and you will get your Rs. symbol. key
