Dalai Lama recently had a journey in Varanasi in Sarnath area facing several problems. This article explains what kind of problems the Dalai Lama faced while he was in Sarnath, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

Dalai Lama just arrived in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh and city welcomed him with bumpy roads all over in Varanasi. Yes, the Dalai Lama is facing such problem, whole Varanasi roads are under construction for now traffic jam, dust are daily schedule for now, its too disappointing for Varanasi that the great Tibetan spiritual leader has to face these kind of problems while entering into the city.

Most of roads are dug for laying sewer lines under the Varuna Sewage project. It's worth saying that Chief Minister Mayawati launched this project in December, 2008 and finally work started now at a very slow pace. District officers are saying that work of laying sewer-lines will be done only after identifying patches and where they have already completed the work, those will be repaired.

Sarnath area is facing the same problem and it affected too Dalai Lama in Sarnath as whole area was covered by dusts and also other people are facing many problems in breathing. This events of spirituality is being held at Central University of Tibetan Studies and there also work is not completed and there is no effort by government to repair it immediately.

It was expected that before Dalai Lama reaches to the city it will be improved but there is action by goverment till now when the Dalai Lama is about to leave Varanasi.
