New IIMs list in India, admissions, campus address

Every year CAT (Common Admission Test) scores is taken for admissions to IIMs in India. Now all students of management have a better chance to get admission in IIMs as there five new IIMs open now. Now students have a chance to get admission in 11 IIMs in India over 2,600 seats.

List of new IIMs in India

1. IIM Raipur: IIM Raipur currently offers the two year Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in management and other courses will also be offered in near future e.g. Executive Post Graduate Program, Fellow Program in Management etc. First batch for PGP programme at IIM Raipur will start by October 11, 2010 with 70 students.

2. IIM Ranchi: IIM Ranchi has already started its Post Graduate Programme in management in session 2010-2011.

3. IIM Rohtak: IIM Rohtak is located at 70kms from New Delhi and offers PG program from MDU (Maharishi Dayanand University) campus.

4. IIM Kashipur: IIM Kashipur is a proposed IIM in Uttarakhand and supposed to start new batches from 2012.

5. IIM Trichy: IIM Trichy also offering Post Graduate Programs in management from session 2011-2012. Currently its having temoprary officce in BHEL, Trichy and hostel facilities will be provided to students at NIT campus in Trichy. The state Government has alloted the land of few acres for making campus and it will be ready soon.
