LAL BHADUR SHASTRI
Life :-
Lal Bhadur Shastri was born on October 2, 1904, in Moghalsarai, Uttar Pradesh. His mother's name is Ramdulari Devi and His Father's name is Sharada Prasad Shrivastava. His father was a school teacher by profession. He shars his birthday with Mahatama Gandhi. He was a man of princilples. He completed his graduation from Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi in year 1925.

Lal Bhadur Shastri offered his resignation as Union Railway Minister, hour after he was made aware of a train accident that killed around 150 peoples. He laid the the stones of the well productive schemes like Green Revolutions and White revolutions. He was the first person to be psthumously awarded the "BHARAT RATNA".
Lal bhadur was inspired with the stories of nation leaders, developed a desire to participate in the Indian Movement. He used to listen the speech of Mahatama Gandhi and reading books of Marx, Russell, etc. And this was the movement when he decided to jump into the fire of Indian Freedom Struggle.
In year 1921 this was the time when lal bhadur shastri was arrested first time when he was demonstrating in the non co-operative movement. In year, 1928 he was married to Lalita Devi. At this time he refused to accept the Dowry because he was against the Dowry System.
In year 1930, Lal Bhadur Shastri became the secretary of Congress Party. and Later the President of Allahabad Congress Committee. He played the cruial role in 'Salt Movement'.
In year, 1937 he was elected to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
He was elected as a Minister of Police in the mnistry of Govind Vallabh Panth in Uttar Pradesh. Jawaharlal Nehru also invited him to join the Union Cabinet as a Minister for Railways.
In year, 1950 he resigned from the post of Minister of Railways. Following the train accident that killed around 150 passengers near Arivalur in TamilNadu.
In year, 1957 he returned to the cabinet, And he was the first as the Minister for Transport and Communications and then as the Minister of Commerce and Industry.
In year, 1961 he became Minister for Home and formed the "Committee on Prevention of Corruption".
In year, 9 June,1964 Lal Bhadur Shastri became the Prime Minister Of India in the presence of Jawaharlal Nehru. Some of the party stalwarts Shastri emerged as the consensus candidate.
In year, 1965 Lal Bhadur Shastri was formed "National Dairy Development Board" when he was Prime Minister.

In year, 11 January, 1966 Lal Bhadur Shastri had heart attack This heart attack was the three heart attack. He is the only Indian Prime Minister, to died in office, overseas.
Its a Pride and Honour for each and every citizen of India. The person who gave his life to get the freedom from the Britishers.
