This thread is to discuss the opinion poll topic 'Will our UP become a developed state in all over India than other states in future ????'. This forum post will also include why it can't be the developed state? How the castism in votes and the corruption are the main obstacle in the development of the state in all fields.

Hello Pawan,

It is good to love our state but we should also take care of ground realities before even thinking that Uttar Pradesh will become a developed state than other states in India. There is nothing to suggest that Uttar Pradesh is going to put its foot forward on the paths of development. Take the manifesto of all major political parties contesting UP assembly elections 2012 for example. The highlight of all the manifestos are reservation, distributing free stuffs, caste etc. And certainly all these things doesn't present a very bright future of Uttar Pradesh.
