This thread is to discuss the opinion poll topic 'Do you think that since 2007, when the BSP govt came to power, the cases of harassment of SC/ST had declined?'.
If you think yes then how much percentage do you think that current government has controlled it?? If no then what can be the steps to control it?

    Hello Pawan,

Mayawati Uttar Pradesh government has failed on all fronts. Though it says that it is a party which works for SC/STs, however it is just vote bank politics. Mayawati and her government has just wasted the public money to create statues of elephants and herself.

As far as SC/ST harassment cases are concerned they are declined not only in Uttar Pradesh but also in entire Nation.BSP came into power in 2007 not on the basis of SC/ST harassment cases but Uttar Pradesh people want a stable and strict government which provide crimeless, corruption free, and developing government. The national commission set up by central and state governments also improve the situation and government also organise large number of programmes for Schedule Casts and Schedule Tribes in Uttar Pradesh develop a fearless environment.
I think following points can help them.
1-Provide proper education to them by organising litral improvement schemes and programmes.
2-SC/ST harassment cases should be treat hardly and punish the victims.
3-Awarness programmes in society about not seeing them as lower community should be carried by different government and non-government organisations.

    Hi Pawan,

The BSP government has failed in all the ways so the people of the state are not happy. There is no progress in UP since 2007.
BSP government including the chief Mayawati has wasted lot of money and not done any new development.
