This is good question. I think that Mayawati loves to stones. She do not love to people so not care about people. She think that people will live some time and stones will live more time so she spend money on stones not for people. People's average life is 60 years and stones have not average life.
To keep her memories alive she spend on stones.

Hi Prashant;
In my opinion it is really a wastage of money.Many of the small children are not even getting food and education in U.P and she is waisting the money on Parks.However what can we do about it;the issue was already in court and still the park is made.I have even heard that the construction of part by cutting trees has resulted in an increase in the temperature of Lucknow.
I hope she understands and utilizes the money of people on the welfare of poor and those who actually need it.
