The prices of Vegetables has been increased beyond the reach of common man.
Bad monsoon, bad yield, and bad planning on the part of the farmers are the causes for less agri yield and therefore price rise.
Coupled with this the general elections are also responsible for the price rise.Because many farmers either directrly or indirectly gave donations to the political parties and now they are reaping the benefits.

Hi Prashant,
In my point of view their is no one responsible for vegetables price rising. Its all happened because of the less rain the most of the area's where the vegetables are mostly grow's. Like UP, Haryana, etc.
If there is less rain fall and there is no water to grow vegetables. So, how the farmers will grow vegetables ? That's why the price of vegetables are touching the sky.
With Regards, Prashant Sultania
