Srm University is the deemed university. It has three main branches. The head branch is at Kattankalathur, Chennai, Ramapuram Chennai and the the branch is in Modinagar. It is ranked no. 1 in the engineering colleges. It has good very experienced faculties and they are very co-operative. The method of giving results is through CGPA. It has six btech courses and also Mba and Mca courses.
The courses in Btech are as follows :
1) Mechanical engineering
2) Computer Science
3) Electrical and Electronics
4) Civil Engineering
5) Information Technology
6) Electrical and Communication Engineering.
